Engine Cooling problem
1987 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a water leak behind the exhaust manifold. I think it is the freeze plug but I couldn't find any information about it in my Haynes manual. Is there anything else it could be? If it is the freeze plug, do I have to remove the exhaust manifold to replace it? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
