This engine does leak oil, however even after filling with oil or changing oil I lose oil pressure at idle after about 15 minutes of driving. The pressure drops to zero while idling at a stoplight for example and the engine makes bad noises and sounds generally unhealthy. At highway speeds the pressure will sometimes return, sometimes not. Give the truck a break and start it up, and its fine, but after 10 min or so the pressure will drop again. What can I do to help this? Additives? Change oil pump? Pray and wait for old old truck to die?
