Electrical problem
1979 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

i replaced the ignition switch,ignition modual,starter relay and starter.with the key off i hook up the battery and the starter engages,with the key on i hok up the battery and the truck starts but the starter stays engaged.i have a wireing diogram and have been over all the wires twice every thing seems fine.any ideas?

Your problem is that you got the wires reverse on the starter relay-do this remove the small 2 wires get a test light put key in run now find the wire that has power -put that on the I terminal which is the ignition pass -to fully power up the coil during initial starts and the other goes to the S terminal -Retry
