how do I replace a alternator.

Removal and Installation ALternator
1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES. 2. Remove the nuts and the engine cover assembly.
à   To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in). 3. Rotate the front end accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise and position the front end accessory drive belt aside. 4. Position the protective cover aside and remove the generator B+ terminal nut.
à   To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). 5. Disconnect the generator B+ terminal and the electrical connector. 6. Remove the 4 bolts and the generator bracket.
à   To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in). 7. Loosen the 2 bolts and remove the generator.
à   To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). 8. If necessary, remove the nut and the generator pulley.
à   To install, tighten to 109 Nm (80 lb-ft). 9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
