2003 Ford Explorer Rear Brake Rotors

Brakes problem
2003 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 58000 miles

How do you get the rear brake rotors off? I have taken the the pads and caliper off, and removed the center nut that holds the rotor on the splined shaft. Used penatrating oil on the shaft spline, and tapped on the rotor hub. The rotor still will not budge.

First that axle nut DOES NOT come off to remove a rotor! Reinstall it! If the rotor is stuck, remove the adjuster plug in back and back off the parking brake adjuster. Use a hammer if the rotor is still stuck, these are slip on and off rotors! Make sure you torque that axle nut so you dont cause any damage to the bearing.
