I just had my ball joints upper and lower replaced in the front end. Now when I am driving and I hit a bump in the road my car shimmes for about 1-3 seconds and then stops. I also think that the car seems unstable when this is happening.

Ok first I would take it back and let them know what it is doing and have make sure everything is tight and that the alignment is ok. Then make sure that tire rods are good and tight and that if it has a steering stabilizer that is hooked up and good.

NO something is loose I could even be a wheel bearing. So please take it back to to another shop and ask them to check the wheel bearings tire rods and steering stabilizer.
