2000 Ford Explorer P1000 trouble code
Helping a friend with above vehicle, and the check engine light is on and vehicle runs rough. Using a scanner in KOEO mode the P1000 code shows. I know it means testing incomplete, but what, how, and why does this happen? Your help would be greatly appreciated

Battery has been disconnected and or the code s been cleared PCM was cleared
all these and more will cause p1000 code
system have to become ready for this code to disappear
you cant clear this code
you have to drive the truck until it clear it self and that when it become system ready
