2000 Ford Explorer Drops to 28psi oil pressure at idle

My wifes explorer drops to 28psi of oil pressure at idle, the guage on the dash kept dropping so i put on a mechanical guage and it was 28psi at idle and 51psi at 2100 rpm. The engine has only 30000 it was i remaned we put in 3 years ago i was going to replace oil pump but was wanting some other advice first. it is the 4.0 OHV engine. Thanks

Pressure spec is 40-60 psi at 2000 rpm normal operating temp, so it's OK... Change sending unit.

I am sorry i forgot to say that i have changed the sending unit 4 times and with in 4 city blocks it blowes oil threw it (not sure if that is normal) that is why i checked the pressure i thought it was high

Are you using the recommended oil listed on the fill cap?
When you say "blows through" do you mean it's leaking?
