the radio stations and time will not lite up, but radio will play. how can i fix this?

The problem is internal to the radio. It will have to be removed and sent in for repair. Other option is to go to dealership ($$$$$$$) and request a radio exchange. You will not get your radio bad, but you will get the same part number from someone elses vehicle.

I agree, we had the same issue with our factory installed radio. Get a new radio if it is a problem to not have the lighted display.
Almost any electronics store that sells car radios can get you a better deal than the dealer.
