The check engine light is on and I just found out by my mechanic that the #6 and #7 cylinders are not firing. My fiance was driving it and noticed some white smoke coming out of the tailpipe when the check engine light started blinking. The check engine light has been on for 3-5 days. What are the possible diagnosis' for this situation? I don't know what the engine codes for the check engine light are right now.

From what you describe it may have blown the head gasket between 6 & 7. This would explain the white smoke adn those two not firing.Do a compression test on those 2 then another few for comparison
