OVERDRIVE SENSOR KEEPS FLASHING ON OFF; THE DEALER SAID IF YOU PRESS ON BRAKE WHILE DRIVIN IT GOES OUT AND STAYS OUT. WHAT AM I LOOKING AT AS FAR AS REPAIRING COST IS IT WORTH IT TRUCK HAS ALOT OF MILES

I would need much more information to tell you for sure. Having the vehicle to diagnosis it would be the ideal, which your dealer had.

The one thing I can tell you is that that overdrive switch located on the end of the collumn gear selector (shiflt lever) is a know weak spot for the vehicle. If the switch is failing it is know to switch the overdrive on and off without touching the switch. That is when I would start first, by testing the switch.

Since your vehicle has already been to the Ford dealer, see if they checked this. If they hessitate or "fudge" on their answer...they most likely skipped the usual suspect. This does not mean it is the problen...just means they over thought the situation and didn't check it.
