My 1996 Ford explorer has recently developed a squeaking noise in the area of my front left tire. Every time I go over bumps or rough terrain it make a very loud squeaking noise, possibly coming from the suspension. This also happens anytime I make a turn in either direction. I was told it could possibly be the bushings or I might need to replace my front left stabilizer link. Please help this is a very aggrivating problem

may be the balljoints, they are very prone to making noise like that when the suspention hits rough spots in the road. really suspect balljoints if the vehicle "surges" forward after stopping.

also check your bushings, as they wear they can pollish the metal making it prone to squeaking.
