how do you change an egr valve when you can't get a wrench on it that you can turn, theres NO room. Engine runs rough at low idle, uses too much gas any ideas would be helpful am on ssi-so money is also an issue-thanx

Are you sure the EGR is the problem? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Has the check engine light come on? Poor gas mileage is usually related to a bad 02 sensor. When was the last tune up? Also, what is blocking you from removing the EGR?

Yes I checked all of the above, the POS acts like its getting too much exhast gas back in the intake, check eng lite is on-not o2 sensr-it checks ok, everything on left side of the engine compartment is in the way-the nut to exhst tube is 27mm-there ain't no such crowfoot!-That I can find, damn thing was put on before engine was installed! Last tune up was1500 miles ago-parts house code reader keeps saying egr-not enough flow-needs changed, but how?
