My transmission go's into Reverse fine, it shifts from 1st to 2nd to 3rd to OD fine, but it takes almost 5 minutes to go from park into first, anyone have any idea what could be causing this? it was re-built in 2007

First, have you checked to make sure the trans fluid is full and clean? If it is, my first guess is seals / o-rings that have hardened from time which allows fluid to bypass them. Does it only do it in the AM? I realize that it was rebuilt in 07, but that doesn't mean the seals were replaced. That is why I am asking.

Let me know.

I feel either there is a problem with the trans control module or like I originally said, hardened seals. You could try an additive to see if it helps.
