No oil pressure. New oil pump installed 2 yr. ago. No engine noise presently but afraid to operate under circumstances. sending unit replaced but did not correct. Would engine flush correct?

If you have no oil pressure, the engine will be knocking and ticking and eventually lock-up. IF you hear nothing, there is a problem either with the gauge, (you replaced the sending unit), or the wiring from the sending unit.

To confirm, go to a nationally recognized parts store to get an oil pressure gauge. Most will lend or rent them. Unplug the sending unit and replace it with the manual gauge the is rented. Start the engine. This way you can assure yourself that you are getting pressure.

Let me know what you find, or if you have other questions.
