My gas tank will not allow gas to go in. I read that this means my fuel vent is clogged or blocked. How do I unclog it?

From under the vehicle, you can look up to see the filler neck. You may have to remove the skid plate for a better view and better access. The filler neck splits into two pipes - one large and one small. The small one is the vent. You can check to see the condition of the rubber hose that attaches it to the gas tank. If OK and clear, you can pust a piece of heavy wire (like a straightened coat hanger) up through the vent to remove the obstruction.
