I replaced my alternator because it was not charging and with new alternator. It still was not charging so I bought a new 175 amp fuse and as soon as I hooked up the battery the fuse blew again. Would like to know what would the problem be?

You have a dead short somewhere. My guess would be in one of the battery cables is hooked up wrong somewhere or that main cable to the alternator is touching ground somewhere.
