Last Friday while driving home from work, I noticed the ABS light had come on. After arriving home and shutting down the vehicle and then restarting, cleared the light. The ABS light remained off for the entire weekend. Monday afternoon while leaving work the ABS light came back on, this time I drove strait to my mechanic, he inturn put his scan tool into the OBD II plug and ran the tool checking for codes. The answer he came back with was the ABS Module was not communicating. Now the ABS light stays on continueously, any anaswers that would help me repair this problem will be great. All brake pads were changed last month. I still have normal braking even with the ABS light on.

Have you checked the fuse and relay? Sounds like it's turned off!

Checked the fuses and relays all are good, this afternoon own my drive home the outside temps were lower and the ABS light stayed out the entire drive home. Will post again if the light comes back on. Question if the master brake cylinder reservoir is over full could it cause the ABS light to come on, the brake fluid level switch is tied into the ABS system? The reservoir was over full, I took out about 35 CC worth of fluid, now my brake fluid level is just under max full. Thanks for the question.
