My Computer keeps telling me my door is ajar, and it is not. It also keeps telling me check charging system and I did just that and Battery, Alt, and Generator checked out as good. When I shut the engine off the outside running lights will stay lit for about 5-10 minutes also. Any idea what is causing all of this to happen?

I think I know where the problem is coming from. A common problem with these vehicles is a water leak at the base of the windshield. Water leaks in (small amount) and leaks on to a part called the GEM, generic electronic module. It is located behind the fuse panel under the dash. Check for evidence of water getting to it.

Let me know what you find.

I pulled the Fuse Box cover off and found no evidence of Moisture. It was dry as a bone, However I do Power Wash the engine from time to time maybe something in there?

Yes, powerwashing could get many things wet. Did you see the GEM behind the fuse box?

Pretty difficult to get behind the fuse box since I do not know how to remove it But everything around it, above it, and off to the sides, is Bone Dry. If i need to remove the fuse Box and look behind then just give a little advice on how and I will? Also not sure what is supposed to look like? Cannot seem to find any good pictures of one.

I understand. It is tight. Use a mirror to look up at it. Here are pictures. One is out of the car, and the other is still in the vehicle.

According to the local Ford Dealership the 2003 Expedition does not have a GEM Module Per Say, it is called a Central Security Module and is located behind the Glove Box, and again it is not wet it is dry as a Bone.

The only other thin I can think of is the body control module (BCM).

I had this same problem on my 03 expedition. The way that I solved it was by spraying a little WD40 in all of the door jams/locks. Let me know if that works
