Have checked the fuses...all fine. would like to replace the blower motor resistor.....can't find anything online that is in exactly the same place. have followed the wires from blower motor up to what I believe is the resistor behind a gold plate...how the heck do I get to that?[img:457d83c404]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/568128_0901101537_1.jpg[/img:457d83c404]

Hi hauschcl,

Thank you for the donation.

Here are the rremoval procedures, however if the blower does not operate in all speed modes, it most likely is not a fault with the resistor ( controller). You should check the blower fan motor and relay.

BLOWER MOTOR SPEED CONTROLLER
Removal & Installation
Disconnect negative battery cable.
Disengage stops and lower glove box door.
Disengage blower motor speed controller mounting bracket from instrument panel.
Disconnect connector, disengage 2 retaining tabs and slide blower motor speed controller from bracket.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
