1999 Ford Expedition Shifter Is Very Loose
The shifter is loose and the vehicle has a very hard time going into park. Will often coast as if in Neutral. The shifter has to be pushed up very hard to finally park.

Underneath the steering column, above the brake pedal is the shifting assembly. If you follow the thin shaft towards the steering column, you will find a plate with 2 allen screws. Tighten the screws and the shifter is repaired!
