Steering problem
1998 Ford Expedition V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
My ignition was acting up before it eventually "broke". I had to turn the key a little further and harder each time before my vehicle would start. Now, I can turn the key, but nothing happens at all, of course. The key is really loose in the ignition as if it isn't catching anything. I was wondering if this was something that could be repaired, or am I looking at just replacing the entire ignition? Is that what it's called, the ignition? I see a lot of different terms such as ignition coil and stuff. What would be the ballpark cost to have a repair shop to repair or replace? Thanks.
