Rear brake shoes
I have a 98 ford escort, automatic and front wheel drive with 150k miles on it. I just replaced the rear brake shoes and the drums would not go on easily. I kinda forced them on and know the rear wheels will not spin. I was looking for an adjuster as there usually is on drum brakes but there isn't one. I'm not sure what to do?

loosen up the emergency brake some to see if you can get more clearence to remove the drum, you might have to work it off. brake drums should go on a little snug but not to much. After you get the drum off located the adjuster and loosen it up, then once the drum is back in place readjust, make sure you check out the shoes, when you forced the drum on it could have chiped or broken them.
