i have a 1995 ford escort LX with 140,000 1.9L I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to identification of parts. I need to replace the hose that runs from the pcv valve to i think the intake? I would like to order the original part but not sure on what the exact name for it is. also when i make a right turn i heard like a rubbing noise could this be my cv joint. I just had the tierod replaced on the drivers side any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I call it a PCV valve hose. Some people call it a Oil Separator hose.

Escort Vacuum diagram Did you do a front end allighnment after replacing your tie rod? It is possible that your toe-in is off and your tire is rubbing somewhere. CV joints as far as I know, don't make a rubbing sound. But I have seen some strange thing's before. CV joint's usually make a clicking sound, mostly when turning when they are bad. They also can make a clunking sound

If you need a new PCV valve hose you may want to check the rubber grommet that the pcv valve sits in too. Usually it's worn and leaking.
