Ford Escort cooling fan wont turn off

1997 ford escort with 120k miles cooling fan will not turn off with key, only disconnected battery. I was wondering what I need to replace in order to fix this. Thank You

You could hook the battery up and pull the radiator cooling fan relay and see if it still runs if not suspect a relay failue, you may be able to find another with the same part number to swap it out with for confirmation if not we will look else where

Are you referring to the raidiator fan or the A/C cooling fan?
