What is the best way to remove the water pump from the engine bay. I have it loose, currently I am not able to bring it up from next to the engine. I have removed the engine damper mounting bracket, the water hose and radiator hose. I have Chilton manual, but it is not clear on this. Thanks

Try going through the wheel well. You might have to remove some plastic panelling to do so, but it shouldn't be too difficult. Good luck.

If it's the 1.9L engine, you should be able to bring it up thru the top. You can remove the idler pulley if that helps.
