I recently had my car checked up and had a new fuel filter installed. Then I drove to NC from MI and experienced no problems at all. After I arrived I went driving around town and it was running fine. I stopped for a few minutes at a store and when I came out and started it up it was running really badly. I have replaced the sparkplugs and the wires and it will stay running now (when I started it up cold after this happpened it would die after a few seconds), but it is still running really badly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A problem like yours could be anything from fuel pump to ignition parts to timing belt slippage.
Do a compression check first to eliminate the more serious stuff and let us know...
