Hi,
I need to replace an AC Evaporator on a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2 and was looking for a step by step instructions manual. System is already discharged and I just have to replace the Evaporator.

Thanks for the response. I was hoping to get a better description on the "Remove instrument panel" part as I have never done that and don't know anything about the airbags and if the steering wheel has to come off etc.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sure no problem. The airbags and steering wheel do not need removed but always disconnect negative battery cable before repairs just to be safe. The instrument panel it is talking about is the plastic trim on passenger side near bottom, it should be held in by screws and a few clips on back. Remove the screws then pull out to release the clips.
