So six months ago my car overheated, i changed the thermostat and everything was fine. Now after i drive the car for 45 minutes or so the coolant in the tank starts to bubble, my guage is not telling me i'm overheating but when i stop off and lift my hood with the car still running the the anti freeze is bubbiling in the tank. my gauge never likes to stay in one spot, it goes from half to quater to half again.
i changed the thermostat again along with the thermostat sensor. At the same time i also gave it a tune up due to the milage. My fan is still not coming on, i have let it sit in the driveway for 3 minutes or so running and it does not come on. It seems to only start to bubble in the tank when i'm in stop or go traffic. Someone had told me that i have an electric fan so it won't come on right away. i'm a little confused as to if it's ok for me to keep testing to see if it over heats, i don't want to crack the head, or do any serious damage
