1998 Ford Escort 4 cyl Manual 240000 miles
My escort has been running fine for a year, then i stopped at a store the other day and when i came back it didn't start. It would crank and crank but not start. I changed the fuel pump i can hear it run now when i put the key in 2nd position, but it still just cranks and wont turn over. I had a friend check and make sure it had spark and fuel injectors were getting gas. I also tried spraying starter fluid in the air filter and tried starting it that way, but still no luck! what could the problem be??
