P1744 CODE SAYS THAT I NEED TO CHECK FLUID, IT`S FULL, OR REPLACE TRANSMISSION?TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED TWO YEARS AGO, USED. THE CAR SHIFTS FINE, NO SLIPPING.I GOOGLE AND I FOUND I CAN CHANGE THE TCC SOLENOID.I WENT TO THE DEALER, SERVICE PERSONS SAYS IT`S UNDER THE TRANSMISSION PAN, I GOT TO DEALERS PARTS PERSON AND HE PRINTS OUT THE TRANSMISSION MODULE AND SAYS NO LONGER IN STOCK AND THE COST OF IT WOULD BE 1,300.00 DOLLERS. WERE IS THE PART LOCATED IN THE TRANSMISSION PAN, HE TOLD ME THERE IS LIKE 6 OF THEM, AND WERE CAN I FIND THE PART, PART NUMBER AND THE COST?THANKS STEVE

Ha ha. Go slap your Ford parts person. Here. About $30 each plus shipping.

You need to pull down the trans pan. Once your remove the filter, you will see about six (most of them black) circular units. Those are your TCC solenoids.
