Greetings All,
I have a '97 Ford Escort about 110k miles and I think a 4 cylinder engine. Saturday, I was having a conversation :evil: with my spouse in the car that they did not agree with. To get my attention he shifted my car in netural while I was driving 65mph. (The legal speed limit). Now, the car can not go past 20mph and when it's stopped, good luck it won't move. The car might roll backwards. Pressing the gas revs the car pretty hard.
Needless to say, I don't know what the disagreement was about; but I do have a car that has issues. Oh, did I mention I live in Minnesota....so being without a car is not doable.
Any help to this problem would be appreciated.
