I have a 1988 Ford Escort Pony with 117,000 miles on it, i have just recently replaced the head and now that I have it back together it wont start, it will turn over but it is not getting gas to through the injector, i have replaced the fuel pump, filter, regulator, injector, computer, EEC relay still nothing, now when I turn the key on I am not getting any power to the sensors, though there is twelve volts going into the EEC realy and 4.something coming out. Any ideas because I am stuck. Thanks

Start with the basics.
You have fuel going to the cylinders.
No air restrictions.
Have spark.
Let me know

it matters if you have spark and fuel, but after taking off the heads, if you have no compression at all she wont start, get a compression tester, after the basics, and test her out.

After taking some time away from the car issue it is now time to retackle it and I have found that I am not getting power to the ECA at all, I have traced some wires back to the ignition coil and was wondering if this would have any effect on controlling the ECA. Any and all help would be appreciated.
