Engine Cooling problem
1988 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
tryied to do a radiortor flush
but after driving for a bout an hour the engin died on me. give it about a hour to cool down but the engine will not start. I may have a blown head gasket or starter motor problem. After I let it cool down, I tried starting it and I could hear the rrr-rr sound but its very faint, ligher than it normaly is.
How do i tell if its a head gasket or the starter, and if i blew i head gasket with the engine still try to start? or is it something i do not know?
