2002 Ford Escape 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 196600 miles
as im driving i can hear a very heavy linkage noise coming from my front end undercarrige, i would like to know what this could possibly be i have a good aligment but my driver side tire is still going bald. What could the problem be?

Could be a bad ball joint or wheel bearing or tie rod end/ inner rack socket.Need to lift and support the front of the vehicle and try to move the tires with the steering wheel locked, you are looking for excessive play in the wheels.
