1993 Ford Ecosport timing belt

1993 Ford Ecosport 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Hi I replaced the timing belt I follow the instructions the car sinze to have problem to star like is out of time also make sond in the cover please help can I tried to move a toot or two from where the bottom or the top cram shafth please advice
