Although I used to be a fair mech. with the new motors I have never worked on electronic engines. I need to put plugs and plug wires on my van badly. I don't want to start the job till I know what tools I need and what I am about to get myself into. I feel this should be a simple repair but I have learned in the past nothing is simple on a car anymore. Can anyone help a girl out here? I'm attempting the repair myself cause I'm out of work and I need the van to find a job.

Hi, joleen

i will have to assume, you have a inline 6cyl. If not let me know.
You will only need a 13/16 plug socket ratchet and a couple diff length extensions. And a swivel. No special tools are required for this engine. It is a simple basic eng. You will find not much diff then the old points eng. Thanks billymac
