2000 Ford E-Series Van 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I changed the starter, cellinoid, and the wire connectors on it, and still get nothing. I even jumped the cellanoid, and can only start it like that. What could it possibly be?

It could be the neutral safety switch. Hold your foot on the brake, hold the key in the crank engine position, on slowly move the shifter down through the gears. Chances are the vehicle will start. The switch could also have come unplugged. It never hurts to check for a popped fuse either. Good luck. Mickey-d
