Noises problem
1998 Ford E-Series Van 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 193k miles
Siimply put, the symptoms sound exactly like a bad CV joint, but my van is rear wheel drive and doesn't have CV joints in the front. We got underneath and can't see any CV joints, and can't see anythign visably broken
What else could it be?
There is a whirring/soft ticking coming from the front passenger side wheel, but it onlly happens when turning the steering wheel to the right. Left turns are smooth with no noise. At first it felt like maybe the power steering fluid was low or the belt loose, but neither one is. And it's only on right turns. Any help?
