Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Ford E-Series Van 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic lots miles

thanks in advance- the only car I have - work truck- cant work without it- running OK saturday night parked- tried to start sunday morning -cranks but will not fire- has spark- checked fuel pump- primes when key turned on- disconnect hose to filter & crank LOTS OF FUEL PUMPED- changed filter- still no start - new crank sensor- no start- have a new cam sensor but looks as if I will have to tear the front of the vehicle apart to get to the old sensor and replace because of water pump pipes - is this the ONLY way to change this sensor?!?!? Is there possibly a simpler solution to diagnose and fix w/ minimal tools / expertise ? Help please ..... thanks

Before you start throwing parts at it you need to first determine what function has dropped out. You said you have good spark so now you need to test for injector pulse with a noid light and fuel pressure with a gauge and then take a compression test. It has to fail at least one of those tests or it would be running.
