Engine Cooling problem
1994 Ford E-Series Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 306xxx miles
My van overheated, turns out I blew an upper radiator hose. After blowing it, I continued down the freeway unaware of what had happened, only knowing it was getting hotter and hotter. Finally it died and wouldn't restart. I replaced the radiator hose, filled with water, and it still wouldn't start. I reset the fuel reset button and disconnected the battery, reconnected the battery, and it started. Then it lost more water - this time from up and back in the engine, not a hose for sure, maybe the water pump, but I thought those were toward the front. This was too far up and to the middle of the engine for me to see very well. So I shut it off and refilled with water. Then again it wouldn't start. I did the fuel reset button, disconnected the battery again, but this time to no avail. It turns over fine but won't fire and start. So I'm left with a mystery leak and no starting. Many thanks for your help!
