Ford Crown Victoria 1999 135K 4.6 V8 Police Interceptor.
Started w/a belt squeak. 2 pulleys and the belt replaced. Driving on the highway, car dies, just when I say OHMYG__, it's alive again - does this twice. Gets me to work and back. Check electrical connections the next day, all looks good. The next morning, dies in the driveway. This is no sputter and die, it's like turning the ignition off. Harmonic balancer was falling apart so we replaced it. Started the car, went inside to clean up, came out and the car had shut off. Will crank, will not turn over. Fuse #12 (for the PCM) in the power distribution module near the battery keeps blowing. Someone suggested taking the computer out and trying to start the car, we did and the same thing happens, cranks and blows the fuse. Any ideas?

My guess is the data link connector is shorted. Check your email for a diagram.
