Car won't start and jumps while driving

I have a 97 Crown Vic LX the car won't start after sitting and whithout spraying starter fluid in it, car also jumps when hitting a bump on passenger, it also dies at red light sometimes, seems worse in the rain. At idle after it starts it runs perfect, changed plugs, wires, fuel filter and air cleaner car has 106,000 on it

I fixed it! The code crankshaft sensor was showing at auto zone, didn't need to replace it, it was replaced before I owned the car and the job was shabby, bare wire and missing bolt, this had been going on for my Girlfriend for the better part of the year, had the codes checked 3 times and nobody could diagnose the problem. Guess I got the right autozone $7.00 an hour guy this time. Thanks all for the other advice and you too merlin for the quick reply.
