ran fine night before when parked. in morning, cranks, plenty of juice but no sign of life, just cranks. temp in the mid 30sF, checked trunk collision shut off. Check engine light is on while cranking if that matters, does not go out.

Bob, Ken, and all,

Thank you for the response, and thank you guys for what you do. I have solved the question; I did check the fuel cutoff in the trunk, it was fine I checked the valve up on the chrome rail for the injectors, and some fuel spurted out, and I could hear the fuel pump, so I figured it's getting fuel. I pulled a wire and put a spark plug on it, used jumper cables to ground it, but no spark. I checked the wire to the crank position sensor, and found it loose. Pushed it back on tight and it started right up.

Thanks again for your help; hope this might help someone else. Actually, my brother said that someone said the crank sensor wire can come loose.

Since your check engine light is on, having your computer scanned for codes is the first step to take.

It wouldn't make much since for me to walk you through diagnosing a "No start" until that's done.

You can rent a scanner from AutoZone or any major parts store. Once you get the codes, write back and I'll help you from there.
