Ford problem

I have a ford 98 contour - v6 engine
for the past 2 months my car has been periodically losing all power, and needs to be jumpstarted to get it started. Once its jumpstarted the car runs perfectly fine for about 2 weeks, and then the same problem occurs again. I try to start it and its totally dead. My mechanic thinks it might be an electrical problem but cant seem to find what it is, since the jumpstart seems to temporarily hide the problem. Ive replaced the alternator numerous times, and the battery ive been told is fine.

Check the battery terminals. Are they clean?
If not, then remove the battery cable clamps and clean the clamps and the posts with a wire brush and put some electrical contack grease on them.
If that isn't the problem, check the engine compartment light, glove box light, and trunk light and be shure they are turning off when they are suposed to.
Also, check to be shure the cables on the battery and alternator are tight.
