Ford Contour-wont turn over

I have a 99 Ford Contour, 4cy, 110,000miles. It is in really good condition and had been running fine. I shut it off, an hour later it wouldn't start. It would crank but not turnover. I had the fuelpump and relay switch replaced, but its still doing the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks!

Could have broke the timing belt. What was the reason to change the Fuel pump? Do you have spark? And what size or liter is this four cyclinder. Please give me a little more info. If the timing belt broke, the camshaft won't turn and the car wont start. But there are other things that can come into play. 8)
