V6 engine, 91,000 miles, 1995. After starting from cold it will idle normally for a few seconds to a few minutes. Then it will start to run rough and stall. If I put my foot on the gas and bring it to 2500 rpm it will keep running but very rough. If I floor the throttle, it will go only to 4000 rpm. The fuel pressure seems good at about 28 psi rising a little when I give it gas. When I let off on the throttle, it promtly stalls and will not start again. At this point it has spark but won't restart for a few hours.
I have replaced the fuel pump and filter, added drygas, taken off the idle air control valve and cleaned it. The "check engine" light does not come on. Also I have checked the cat and the EGR. They are OK.

I found the problem myself- the ignition module.

I was having similar problems. Turns out it was the ignition coil. Not too expensive either! Good luck, sire.
