Did that code come on after a timing belt replacement and if so 1st step would be recheck timing and marks
check oil
check VCT hollow oil feed bolt being plugged with debris
incorrect base timing if belt was replaced in a recent time would be my 1st step

Vct valve is absoutely the cause changed oil added half litre of tranny fluid ran engine for an hour replaced oil and filter again working fine. Thanks for your help
