My car does not want to idle. I replaced the maf senor it seemed to help but still have to hold rpms about 1100 to keep it running. I also replaced the vtc sensor, put the car in time and it ran for about 2-3 min and died. Now it wont start it it sounds like it would if the timing belt was broken(it's not). Maybe im not putting in time correctly or the coil packs are bad. It turns over but sounds like no spark and turns over quickly. Im stumped ready to blow it up please help

IF the production date was after mar 28,1999 then the engine is not an interference engine.

IF it is older than it is an interference engine. IF it went out of time, then there may be internal damage.

Since it spins over fast, it may not have the valves closing all the way if they are bent.

Do a compression test of the cylinders and verify that there is compression happening.
