1996 Ford Contour oil in spark plugs

there is oil in spark plug chamber and is stalling out. have any ideas what could cause this?

If the oil is on the outside of the engine around the pluge, chances are the valve cover is leaking. As far as the engine dieing on you, has the check engine light come on? When does it happen? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?
